THE HOUSE
Prominent anchorage
between the port and the city
The Haus der Seefahrt is a landmark, a listed building and a symbol of Hanseatic architecture. Built in 1909/10 by Edgar Foßhag and Georg Schlepps as a rental office building, it combines Art Nouveau elements with functional clarity. Its striking sandstone façade, reliefs and the statue of Hammonia make it a unique piece of architecture in the heart of the old town.
The revitalization by Quest Investment Partners preserves the historical substance and brings it into the present – for modern, sustainable working environments in a monument of special radiance.
